Seven men. One code. No way back.
Every empire begins with a debt.
In 1993, seven young men met at Koloniya No. 17, a penal colony where trust was a liability and survival was rarely shared.
Six years later, in Moscow, they gave what they had built a name: ВОРОН. The raven. An alliance of seven equals bound by an unwritten code, each of them holding a part of the whole that none of the others could carry.
By 2005, VORON has influence, money and a reputation that opens doors across the city. What holds it together is the same thing it was built on: the debts seven men owe one another. Those debts are not getting smaller.
This archive was compiled in the winter of 2005. It is incomplete.

The First Encounter

The seven men cross paths at Koloniya No. 17. Their relationship begins under circumstances defined by survival, suspicion, and an environment that offers little room for trust.
Each of them arrives at the colony young, and alone. Nothing about the place encourages them to be anything else.
What passes between them there is not recorded in any document this archive holds. What is certain is that seven strangers left the colony with something none of them had brought in.
The Code
VORON has no charter. These seven principles were never written down by the men who keep them. They have been assembled here from what associates repeat, and from what the founders do.
Read closely, each one protects the group. Read again, each one also binds it.

Nobody eats alone.

A person who belongs to the group should never be abandoned to face hardship alone.

Actions outweigh titles.

Authority means nothing without the ability to stand behind one’s decisions.

Those who are gone remain part of the group’s history.

Loyalty is proven, not declared.
